Time for something tasty!

I love middle eastern food. And falafels I think are my favorate. They are low fat, filling, and just delicious either on their own or in a pitta. I have a quick and easy recipe that will litterally take you 15 minutes!!
All you'll need is:
a tin of chickpeas
Corriander
Cumin
Salt (quite a bit)
Pepper
(Optional) Chilli flakes or powder or a fresh chilli or all three if u want them really spicy.
Parsley
1 garlic clove
1 egg

Thats the main recipe you can use as much or as little as you want of anything apart from the egg and chickpeas. I sometimes add flaxseed and/or sesame seeds.

• I put everything apart from the egg into a blender (before i had a blender i would just use a potato masher) and whizz it up until everything is mashed up then add the egg to bind and stick it all together.

• Roll into balls or small burger like shapes (sometimes i like to roll them in sesame seeds) and shallow fry for a couple of minutes each side until nice and brown on each side.
You can also do them in the oven or grill turning halfway through until brown if you dont want to fry them. Thats it!!

I either have mine in a salad or in a pitta with hummus, olives, warmed halloumi, sald leaves and tzatsiki. So tasty!!
I only have a picture of the making of it. I couldnt wait to eat them so I totally forgot to take a picture!

Let me know if you try it!

Enjoy cooking!
